Make Money Online by Engaging in the Influence Tactic of Reciprocation

We highly reccommend you get and study Robert Cialdini’s book, “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion”. In it he explores a number of different and powerful ways of influencing others. It’s been instrumental in helping us make money online.

One influence method he covers is Reciprocation which means that if you give something to somebody, like a free report or free audio to a visitor to your website, they’re going to feel more inclined, because you’ll have influence now over them, on a deep psychological level, to give you something back and usually that’s in the form of a payment by buying your product.

When you give something, you want to make sure you give it in the form of a gift, give it away for free in exchange for their name and email address.  Your visitors, having received your gift will now feel some sort of desire to give back to that gift, whether it be in the form of a testimonial, an affiliate promotion, or purchasing another product or service from you in the future.

The gift you give can take any number of forms be it sharing a free eBook, an audio interview, a special report or an ecourse. So again, by providing a free gift to your site’s visitors you’re engaging that influence tactic of reciprocation.
